We are Berlin kinkers: designers, event organisers, coaches, retailers and artists. We live the Berlin dream and ensure that Berlin remains an attractive city.
Over 12 million visitors come to Berlin every year to discover themselves. They dance the night away with strangers who become friends. They have seen so many other crazy ‘children’ that they no longer need courage to open up. What breaks conventions elsewhere is culture in Berlin. We at Kinky Berlin work in this culture every day and understand that our interests are Berlin’s interests.
So that in the future, everyone in Berlin can be happy in their own way.
The association was founded by Tonia Merz.
Tonia established her corset manufacturer To.mto Berlin in 2002. She was firmly rooted in the tradition of the wild 1920s and embodied it from head to toe.
Her sudden death in 2024 from a brain haemorrhage came as a great shock to the entire community. But she created something that will remain. Her spirit lives on in her corset factory and in Kinky Berlin e.V. Her passion for beautiful things, her fire for tolerance and respect, and her sense of decency in the indecent live on in us.
KINKY BERLIN e.V. is the network for Berlin’s sex-positive creative industries and kink labels.
Together, we represent Berlin’s BDSM, fetish, and sex-positive subcultures and connect our scenes.
We share know-how & resources and promote cooperative marketing, events & projects.
Our goal is to convey a positive image of sexual and gender diversity, as well as to reduce prejudice in public opinion.
